This in connection with the death of my father, Mr. Manolo G. Lazaro, Sr, on 23 November 2015, eldest son of Mr. Amado Lazaro and Mrs. Aurora Gabriel-Lazaro.
For the record, the news only came to us as legal family yesterday, 2 March 2016.

The unspeakable manner in which the act of concealing the information about his death is not only done in bad taste but also decry ultimate foulness. Imagine, he was not given a decent wake.

The foulness would also speak of deprivation in the past thirty (30) years--not only of our life as a family but also of his demise physically and spirit as he was had to hurdle a very hard life and death.

We have been keeping silent as it is typical of him to live his own life the way he wanted to in the last thirty (30) years, during those times—as we were not able to fully access any of their so-called “resources” from their so called “corporation” as he was also at the same time living with another woman in Naga City. The indiscretion was also a perfect alibi to keep and take advantage of the situation on almost everything one can think of.

So others may know it, Joel, Oel, Manolo or BJ to some of his friends, was only given measly sum of money to support himself, much more his family in the many years of his life. Being a diabetic, he succumbed to its many complications.
The sad part of his life may be just one last story for the books and to honor him, should just be left unsaid at this time.

Indeed, one will never know the price one has to pay in doing those acts and we shall wait with fortitude, for divine justice to take place as providentially allowed by the Almighty.

For the meantime, we shall be counting on those who have genuine concern to help and support for other people—much more for their own kin and blood, especially for us whose fault was only because we were born to them as children—to find the light at the end of the dark tunnel.

The leaders of this website, fortunately with the help of social media at its core--whose right values are still intact and where the famous Lazaro clan of Malabon have the grandest memory and honor of their ancestors and future children—will be able to find courage to counsel, advise, help us in praying and guide the concerned people in making the rest of their waking life better, worthy and meaningful by living up to the honor of their names which was primarily from all initiatives of our grandparents—Amado and Aurora.

Manolo sired four children with Praxedes “Mercy” Sagutin, namely: Sherlyn, Marilyn, Manolo, Jr. and Magdalena.

Realizing that there are ominous people behind and the plans may have been sinister or not, this story would only put the fact in order and for the record.

As Martin Luther King, Jr, has once said, “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope."
